Welcome to Olive Middle school, home of the Lancers.  Our goal at Olive is to provide the best possible academic experience for our students in a safe and supportive learning environment.  We are committed to helping our students achieve their very best.  We are passionate about education and are proud to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging, and high-quality middle school experience. 

There are many outstanding programs at Olive Middle School.  We offer a Dual Language Program that continues to grow each year, orchestra, band, choir, ASB, Leadership, Yearbook, STEM, Media, WEB, Intermural Athletics, and our Think Together after school program.   

We firmly believe that parents are every child’s first teacher, and by working together, we can ensure that our students’ social, emotional, and academic needs are met.  We believe that all students at Olive Middle School are entitled to a high quality education, and this is achieved through the collaboration and cooperation of all stakeholders.  

We are “A Community Working Together to Achieve Success for ALL Students”, and we work diligently to guarantee that ALL students learn at high levels.  We are engaged in a continuous process of maintaining the foundation of a Professional Learning Community and are committed to learning for ALL.  In addition to our focus on academics, we have implemented PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports), which assists in the development of our students’ social behavior.  Every member on our staff plays an essential role in our students' academic and social development.  We strongly believe that we all have a fundamental responsibility to make sure that ALL students succeed.
